Expanding Sacred Spaces for Spiritual Growth
The “Sree Bhadrasramam” monastery, which subsequently served as the mission’s headquarters, began offering sacred spiritual services in 1992, despite the fact that the SMB Mission was only founded in 2015. Situated in a tranquil village in Kanyakumari, India’s southernmost district, the monastery serves as a centre for Kriya Yoga practitioners seeking holistic spiritual instruction and meditation techniques. The monastery, which is sanctified by the enduring presence of Divine Mother, has been encouraging and guiding thousands of seekers towards God’s Kingdom. Gurudev, Sri Swami Brahmananda Giri, the founder of the monastery and SMB Mission, has spent the most of his yogic life at this hallowed location. The expansion of this sacred place has become essential in order to make its spiritual atmosphere useable and accessible to an increasing number of seekers. The Mission has made the decision to begin the process of expanding the monastery with the help of the everlasting Masters of the Kriya lineage, our Gurudev’s direction, and the love and generosity of countless devotees and seekers
